透過環境經濟學理論教授與個案分析，讓學生瞭解環境與自然資源管理所遭遇之課題、問題之分析及政策之制訂。

Through the teaching of environmental economics theory and case analysis, students can understand the issues encountered in environmental and natural resource management, problem analysis and policy formulation.

本課程的主要目的是讓學生瞭解如何應用經濟學於環境污染管制、環境品質管理與自然資源管理，包括幾個部分，第一部份介紹自然資源與環境的經濟思想，以及具市場的自然資源管理。第二部分為環境政策分析之理論基礎，如分析污染問題所用之理論、環境資源保育之價值評估之理論與方法、及為解決污染問題所設計的制度與政策。第三部分則針對第二部分所討論的各種政策應用於空氣、水、一般廢棄物等問題，此外並以案例說明各種自然環境價值與效益評估應用。第二與第三部分將交錯教授，讓學生能再學習理論之後便瞭解實際個案如何進行。

The main purpose of this course is to allow students to understand how to apply economics to environmental pollution control, environmental quality management and natural resource management. It consists of several parts. The first part introduces the economic ideas of natural resources and environment, as well as market-based natural resource management. The second part is the theoretical basis of environmental policy analysis, such as the theories used to analyze pollution problems, the theories and methods of value assessment of environmental resource conservation, and the systems and policies designed to solve pollution problems. The third part focuses on the application of various policies discussed in the second part to air, water, general waste and other issues. In addition, cases are used to illustrate the application of various natural environment value and benefit assessments. The second and third parts will be taught in a staggered manner so that students can learn the theory before understanding how actual cases are carried out.
