教育目標 Course Target

本課程探討材料的機械、光學與熱力學特性,材料於熱加工過程通常伴隨著相的轉移與變化,透過相圖了解金屬合金材料設計或熱加工的最適化條件。 瞭解陶瓷材料的基本分類與應用、種類、結晶結構與特性,以及離子的分佈和缺陷,並概述其強度、順服性,及荷重斷裂強度等基本性質。從高分子材料的基本化學組成開始,探討材料特性結構如密度、強度、硬度等,並分析結晶與半結晶高分子的結構差異與物理性質影響。纖維、粒子型、金屬型補強添加物於複合材料組成、順相度、結晶性與微細結構,對複合材料的機械性影響,了解高分子、陶瓷材料與基材模板之作用。透過氧化還原反應了解材料的腐蝕效應,內容包括標準半電池與氫電極、電化學電位、金屬氧化速率等相關實際案例分析,使學生了解材料的腐蝕與降解特性,並由課程中安排文章導讀與學生報告,瞭解工程技術發展及應用現況。 This course explores the mechanical, optical and thermodynamic properties of materials. Materials are usually accompanied by phase transitions and changes during thermal processing. Through phase diagrams, we can understand the optimal conditions for metal alloy material design or thermal processing. Understand the basic classification and application, types, crystal structure and characteristics of ceramic materials, as well as the distribution and defects of ions, and outline their basic properties such as strength, compliance, and load rupture strength. Starting from the basic chemical composition of polymer materials, we explore the material characteristics and structures such as density, strength, hardness, etc., and analyze the structural differences and physical properties of crystalline and semi-crystalline polymers. Fiber, particle type, and metal type reinforcing additives influence the composition, phase compliance, crystallinity, and microstructure of composite materials on the mechanical properties of composite materials, and understand the role of polymers, ceramic materials, and base material templates. Understand the corrosion effects of materials through redox reactions. The content includes practical case analysis of standard half-cells and hydrogen electrodes, electrochemical potentials, metal oxidation rates, etc., so that students can understand the corrosion and degradation characteristics of materials. Article introductions and articles are arranged in the course. Students report to understand the current development and application of engineering technology.
