In conjunction with physical chemistry courses, students are trained to be proficient in experimental methods and techniques so as to understand the correlation between theory and experiment. The content includes the heat capacity ratio of gases, the relationship between solubility and temperature, the vapor pressure of pure liquids, determination of critical gel particle concentration of sodium lauryl sulfate, freezing point depression, phase diagram of solid-liquid system, partial molar volume, ternary Phase diagrams, adsorption in solutions and properties of liquids: viscosity.
