Why are there some species so 'fit' with the place where they live? How are thousands of existing and decaying species produced? Course design mainly teaches students important concepts to be expressed in evolutionary science, including earth's history, archaeological fossils, system classification, ethnic heritage, habit, survival and adaptability, sexuality, evolutionary trends, molecular evolution, evolutionary and evolutionary learning, species erosion, human origin, etc. In addition, the application of director evolution in modern medicine, public health, agriculture, psychology, cultural research, and conservation biology will also be explored during the course.

演化學這個課程便是在探討物種起源和造成生物多樣性的模式和過程,課程設計主要教導學生演化學說的重要概念,單元包括地球歷史、考古化石、系統分類、族群遺傳、天擇、適存度和適應、性擇、種化、演化趨勢、分子演化、演化與發生學、物種滅絕、人類起源等。另外課程中也將探討演化學在現代醫學、公共衛生、農業、心理學、文化研究、和保育生物學上的應用。演化學為生命學科中的統合性課程,內容除了一般課堂授課外,也利用天擇實驗、影片、辯論會、精典文獻閱讀、原始論文選讀、科學海報製作與解說、演化專題等活動讓學生熟悉演化學說內的基本概念並活用重要演化學詞彙。

The course of evolution is to explore the patterns and processes that cause biological diversity. The course design mainly teaches important concepts that students have in evolutionary learning. The unit includes earth's history, archaeological fossils, system classification, ethnic heritage, habit, survival and adaptability, sexuality, evolutionary trends, molecular evolution, evolutionary and evolutionary learning, species erosion, human origin, etc. In addition, the application of director evolution in modern medicine, public health, agriculture, psychology, cultural research, and conservation biology will also be explored during the course. Evolution is a comprehensive course in the life sciences. In addition to general courses, the content also uses activities such as natural experiments, videos, discussions, classic reading, original reading, scientific poster production and interpretation, evolutionary topics to make students familiar with the basic concepts in evolutionary theory and use important evolutionary vocabulary.
