人類社會的運作準則，一直面臨如何權衡自由解放與規約束縛的兩難，中國儒家的禮說，正是為解決此問題，而試圖提出可行的原則與規範。由於禮學有其艱澀的成分，本課程則希望能深入淺出，引導學生進入古人所建構的禮儀世界，並藉此省思當今我們所面臨人際關係的困境，進而討論如何建構現代社會合理的身體與行為規範。

The operating principles of human society have always faced the dilemma of how to balance freedom and liberation against the constraints of regulations. The Chinese Confucian etiquette theory is precisely to solve this problem and try to put forward feasible principles and norms. Since etiquette has its difficult elements, this course hopes to explain it in a simple and profound way, leading students to enter the etiquette world constructed by the ancients, and use it to reflect on the dilemmas in interpersonal relationships we face today, and then discuss how to construct reasonable body and behavioral norms in modern society.
