本課程的學習目標爲學習有關「日本文學」的基礎概念與問題，以及其中所涵蓋的文化、思想脈絡，並透過文本閱讀與討論來理解作品中的內容、背景。學期前半將概觀東亞中的「日本」「文學」「近代」（中文則指稱爲「現代」）等問題。後半將透過閱讀跟討論，來探討夏目漱石以及谷崎潤一郎等日本近代文學作家經典作品。The learning objectives of this course are to learn the basic concepts and issues related to "Japanese Literature", as well as the cultural and ideological context covered in it, and to understand the content and background of the works through text reading and discussion. The first half of the semester will provide an overview of issues such as "Japan," "literature," and "modern times" (referred to as "modern" in Chinese) in East Asia. The second half will explore the classic works of modern Japanese literary writers such as Natsume Soseki and Tanizaki Junichiro through reading and discussion.
