先秦諸子中,較為重要學派有儒道名法墨,本課程亦以此為主,這些派別,現在還有思想承繼者,只有儒家與道家,儒家在宋明理學裡,扮演著重要角色,而吾人以孔孟荀為主要上課內容;道家思想,於魏晉玄學中,有著重要的影響,如王弼注老,與向郭注莊,都是道家的延續,且有道教的發揚;而名家,乃與現今之邏輯學可參互比較;墨家的兼愛,與佛教的兼愛,基督的兼愛,亦可比較;法家部分,與現今的民主重法制,亦有其關連性,可做為比較

Among the pre-Qin Scriptures, there are more important schools of Confucianism, Taoism, and the name of Famo and Mo. This course is also based on this course. Among these schools, there are still ideological inheritors. Only Confucianism and Taoism play an important role in the Neo-Confucianism of Song and Ming dynasties, while we mainly use Confucius, Mencius and Xunzi as the main content of the course; Taoist thought has important in the mythology of Wei and Xuanxu. Influences, such as Wang Bi's comments on the old man and Guo's comments on the throne are all extensions of Taoism and developments of Taoism; while famous scholars can be compared with the current logic; the Mohist love, the Buddhist love, and the Christ love, and the Legalist part, which is related to the current democracy and the rule of law, can be compared.
