古典詩乃中文系基礎課程之一，在中國文學中極具代表性，所謂：「登高能賦，可以為大夫」，「不學詩無以言也」，是故「溫柔敦厚」的詩教，即本課程的教學目標。本課程將從古詩至近體詩演變過程，擇選名家詩作，加以研讀，並訓練學生具備讀詩－賞詩─吟詩─作詩之能力。（一）建構基礎古典詩學知識。（二）掌握中國詩學發展脈動。（三）重要詩家作品認識、品鑒。（四）奠定古典詩創作興趣及基礎。

Classical poetry is one of the basic courses in the Department of Chinese Language and Literature and is very representative in Chinese literature. It is said: "If you can climb high and write poems, you can become a doctor" and "If you don't learn poetry, you can't express it." This is why "gentle and honest" poetry education is the teaching goal of this course. This course will cover the evolution process from ancient poetry to modern poetry, select poems by famous writers, study them, and train students to have the ability to read poetry, appreciate poetry, recite poetry, and compose poetry. (1) Construct basic knowledge of classical poetry. (2) Grasp the pulse of the development of Chinese poetics. (3) Understanding and appreciating the works of important poets. (4) Lay the interest and foundation for classical poetry creation.
