教育目標 Course Target

The intent of this course is to bridge the gap between engineering theory and practice. Students will be exposed to various aspects involved in designing a chemical process. Equipment design, process feasibility, economics, and safety issues will be addressed. Course Contents: Different Tasks in Process Design, Phase Equilibrium in Process Design, Selction of Thermodynamic Models in Process Simulation, Process Simulation Pitfalls, Economic Analysis, Overview of Presentation Skills, Separation System Design & Residue Curve Maps, Guidelines for Safety-oriented Process Design, Control Issues, Process Design - A Industrial Case Study, Process Simulation - Practical Applications, Process System Optimization.The intent of this course is to bridge the gap between engineering theory and practice. 課程概述 Course Description

本課程以化工設計案例實作來介紹製程設計,探討包括設備與製程設計,製程經濟效益等課題,目標乃在強化大四同學運用化工專業核心知識的訓練,以及提升同學製程分析及工程設計方面的能力。
This course introduces process design with chemical design case studies, and discusses topics such as equipment and process design, process economic benefits, etc. The goal is to strengthen the training of senior students in the application of chemical industry core knowledge, as well as to enhance students' process analysis and engineering design.
