下學期課程旨在瞭解古漢語「聲母」、「韻母」、「聲調」系統的歷史發展與演變規律，並探討造成各時期漢語音韻變化的原因。課程的焦點放在廣韻音系與現代國語音系的聯繫之上，藉由中古到現代的語音演變知識，說明漢語語音的重建過程、方法與語言發展的模型。This course is a compulsory course for the Chinese Department of Linguistics. The main purpose of teaching is to equip students with the basic knowledge of Chinese phonology and to understand the relationship between modern Chinese, dialects and ancient Chinese phonology and the rules of phonetic evolution. The curriculum is designed to emphasize "methods", "concepts" and "materials" in the study of Chinese history. Semester courses cover basic phonetics, phonology, knowledge of modern Chinese phonology, as well as the major Chinese dialects. After the establishment of the basic language research ability, the modern Chinese language and Chinese dialect phonology will be extended to the Middle Ancient Sounds to link the middle-aged phonology, to study important rhyme books and rhymes and other documents and materials, supplemented by pedigree tree theory of historical linguistics and historical comparison Theory, so that students understand how to structure the Middle Ages phonology, and then continue to study the ancient phonology.
The next semester course aims to understand the historical development and evolution of the ancient Chinese "consonants", "vowels" and "tonal systems" and to explore the reasons for the changes in Chinese phonology in each period. The focus of the course is on the connection between the Guangyun phonology and the modern Chinese phonology. With the knowledge of the phonetic evolution from the Middle Ages to the present, the model of the process, method and language development of Chinese phonology is illustrated.
Class A: Phonology is the traditional phonetics of our country. The purpose of teaching is to make learners fully grasp the characteristics of phonetic structures in different periods of our country and their development and evolution. The main contents of lectures include: the phonetics of phonetics, phonetic knowledge, Mandarin phonetics, modern dialects, early Mandarin, Middle phonology, ancient phonology, the ancient pronunciation to the modern evolution, literature and temperament and so on. This course is currently a compulsory subject in Chinese. Students who pass this training can gain a better grasp of the characteristics and development of Chinese characters and local dialects. By using this knowledge, they can enhance their appreciation of literary works and study ancient books Borrowing ability. Class B: This course is a Chinese language course. The main teaching purpose is to equip students with the basic knowledge of phonology and to understand the phenomena and rules of modern Mandarin, dialects, middle-aged phonology and phonetic evolution. Teaching begins with the modern Mandarin and dialect phonology, and then the middle-aged phonology as the backbone, based on the study of ancient rhyme books and rhyme diagrams, to enable students to understand how to structure the Middle Sound system, and then to study the ancient phonology. As for phonological evolution, emphasis was placed on the transformation from the Middle Ages into the Middle Ages and the Middle Ages into the ancient system.
