0013 - 文學概論 Introduction to Literature

教育目標 Course Target

Introduction to Literature", as a compulsory introductory course for all Chinese students entering the literary world, naturally has a brick-and-mortar meaning: I hope that through such a course, students will initially understand what literature is, and besides being a purely happy reader. In addition, what other methods do we have to gain insight into the subtle and rich passwords that are hidden in each text. Let students understand what "literature is" - such a broad teaching goal is not easy to achieve. The difficulties include: If literature is a university question, how can we make it clear through the "introduction" approach? As for the transition from entertaining reading to serious reading, will it undermine the pure enthusiasm we liked in literature? In fact, "what is literature" should be the first question that Chinese students have to ask themselves after entering this department; and you will answer this question through the next four years or even a lifetime: What is literature, literature What is the meaning of your "self"? Only by reading more and more works, and accumulating more life experiences, you may slowly have a little bit of your own thoughts on this issue; or as your life experience changes, your vision changes, The way you answer this question is different at every stage of your life. And this continuous process of exploration and thinking is like a gorgeous adventure that has experienced one after another in the literary world. At this moment, the journey is about to begin. "Because the text is everything in the work, so slowly read the text to actually read the body of the work. A concerto of four movements, you can not listen to it within ten minutes as soon as possible. The ideal reader should be like an ideal Classical listeners, do not miss every note (text), or even rest (punctuation)." - Wang Wenxing "home change" In this class we will focus on the reading and feeling of the text, including three types of texts: poetry, drama and fiction. Think through the perusal of the text, including the meaning of each word and symbol, the characteristics of different literary forms, what is the literary style, and the world that the text has set up and may correspond to. "Reading" is the key to unlocking the literary world. We hope that students will not be eager to find answers from literary works, but will patiently follow the trajectory of the text and travel to and from the text, the world, and the self. It also leaves your own reading mark and gradually develops the ability to evaluate the work. In the reading process of each text, students will also be led to try to enter the world of literary history and literary theory. In addition to accumulating as a basis for professional training of Chinese students, they also hope to inspire everyone to have more ability and perspective to analyze texts. .
