本學期推論統計論主要是教學引導從入門的統計估計及推論觀念及內容開始學習,能對統計推論的理論逐步建立基礎,當中可使得觀念及理論和應用能並重了解吸收。 推論統計學範圍包含:1. 基本收歛概念與極限分配:不偏性、一致性、機率收斂、分配收斂 、中央極限定理 (此部分較著重於理論的觀念與應用而非推導證明) 2.隨機樣本與分配:抽樣、單一樣本與兩樣本之信賴區間及假設檢定的常態理論及其相關的方法 3. 常用分配的參數估計與檢定, 動差估計法, 最大概似函數,最大概似法 4. 線性迴歸模型與分析 5. 變異數分析 6. 無母數統計方法The main teaching of inferential statistics in this semester is to guide students to learn from introductory concepts and contents of statistical estimation and inference, so as to gradually establish a foundation for the theory of statistical inference, in which concepts, theories and applications can be understood and absorbed simultaneously. The scope of inferential statistics includes: 1. Basic convergence concepts and limit distribution: impartiality, consistency, probability convergence, distribution convergence, central limit theorem (this part focuses more on the concepts and applications of theory rather than derivation and proof) 2. Random samples and distribution: sampling, single sample and two-sample confidence intervals, normality theory of hypothesis testing and related methods 3. Parameter estimation and testing of commonly used distribution, dynamic difference estimation method, maximum approximation function, maximum approximation method 4. Linear regression model and analysis 5. Variation analysis 6. Mother-free statistical method

The two courses "Probability Theory" and "Inferential Statistics" (first and second semesters) provide the study of advanced statistical theories and methods: the content is a core course for students to learn statistical theory and provides the theoretical foundation for statistics-related courses. It also cultivates the ability to take more advanced statistics-related courses in the future. The content of the course covers considerable breadth and depth, emphasizing that students can understand basic theoretical statistical concepts and statistical procedures in different situations. This course is also designed to enable economics students to establish relevant foundations before advancing to study important courses such as econometrics in the future.
